Re: Help us kill spam
I don't know who/what "aa596825" or the "wwow" people/machines are but they are putting in random garbage into a bunch of topics?

Re: Heater control
yes, if let on its own it seems to vibrate into a position between dash, floor and a little on defrost. If you push it all the way towards the firewall it goes on defrost. the end of that metal portion fits into a plastic tab and I guess it breaks there. some of these guys have glued it and made it ...

Re: Heater control
or reach under the dash to the right of the steering column and locate the metal rod and manually change it. i dont' recommend doing this while driving, but it can be done. Pushing the rod all the way forward is for the defroster, pull towards you for floor. or read the post that discusses this prob...

Re: oil pan gasket leakage, crank shaft seals, camsahft issue
thanks for that Trey. When I did my valve cover gasket on the 1.6 (plugs were full of oil around the wires), I noticed the old gasket was extremely brittle. the one i replaced it with was soft and pliable. did the original gasket start the same way? no wonder it leaked. are those oil drain plug wash...

Re: Aveo clutch help
sorry I can't help Master Daewoo.... wish I could. I don't know what I am doing. However, i have found that the people here are VERY helpful and do try to help whoever asks. I think many of the real pros are busy with lots of other stuff and do not get on this board every day, or even every week so ...

Re: Warm Engine Misfires/stutters
Thanks Wolf. I guess I'll do that next. Yes, I tried to get them to replace mine under the recall also as I was getting these codes from the day I got the car. They said mine had already been checked and/or the numbers on my sensor weren't in the range of the recall.... SURE it was checked???? What ...

Warm Engine Misfires/stutters
OK guys, you have helped me before, hopefully you can again. I have been getting codes for my Camshaft Position Sensor for a long time (P0341 and 0342) with no performance probems. For a couple of years there was no change in the way the car ran. In the past few months I started to get a miss when t...

Fuel Filter Question/ Valve cover gasket succes
I located the thread with the instructions on changing the filter. http://daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2679 The problem is that none of the pictures are visible. i tried to open them but that didn't work either. also, I see the additional entry that has that special tool for the fuel li...

Re: 2000 Lanos - Sporatic Power Loss
I'm with MMDouth..... check the posts. Mine did the same thing. the posts on my battery are tapered and the plastic guards had wedged the clamp up the post, and loose. I removed them, cleaned them, replaced them on the battery and all was fine. I would check the simplest thing first?

Re: Daewoo Lanos 2002 + Transmission Fluid
I'll wait for the pros to respond but I think there is just that plug to check, no dipstick. I don't know about the lifting ofa running car above you to do it though? I would say warm it up, then shut it off and put it on a lift and check that plug. supposedly that is to be the level of the fluid. I...

Mine has been on too..... any way to get rid of it other than having a dealer take your first born to do it?
