Re: Is there any Woo running water/meth?

I'm also using water/methanol kit on my lacetti. And my purpose is lowering EGT. My pump is a custom modified Coolingmist. Remove pressure regulating circuit and attached some tubing and spped controller for adjusting pumping pressure without pump motor stop. And it makes to adjust pumping pressure ...

Today, I fixed AFR competely. It keeps AFR 11~12:1 at full boosting 1.3~1.5bar. The problem was MAP sensor atmospheric pressure value. ECU judges atmospheric pressure value when key on before starting the engine. And controls AFR with MAP sensor voltage & O2 sensor value. In case of stock MAP sensor...

My lacetti is 2003 initial model and it uses Siemens Sirius-D4 ECU. And it tries to keep 14.7:1 when closed-loop condition relies on O2 sensor, but when open-loop(under full trrottle or some conditions), it will inject fuel in accordance with pre-set fuel map. And ECU remapping is adjusting pre-set ...

UPDATE...

I have changed map sensor (to 2.5bar sensor) and adjusting AFR with S-AFC. However... it is difficult to catch it. Anyway, I checked dyno numbers again. AFR was dancing.... http://www.clublacetti.com/zbxe/files/attach/images/149/879/022/009/68733e28ad7e34923e55a6f52d53cc25.jpg Max Boost = 1.5bar(21....

are they metal gaskets? i tought the factory ones were not! Hmm... Lacetti's genuine head gasket is surely metal, 0.75T, and I can check it in Service manual. All turbo lacetti(1.5L, 1.6L engine) in Korea use just stock gasket, 2 or 3 sheets. Ah, just one is using custom metal gasket. He is an engi...

Efrain A. wrote:how did you lower the compresion to 7.7:1.

Thicker headgasket?
I checked my calculation was wrong.
The correct compression ratio is 8.34:1.
And I used 3 gaskets together. GM genuine head gasket(metal) 0.75mm X 3 sheets.
Stock compression ratio 9.5:1. (1 gasket).

I fixed my thread.

Lacetti 1.5 in Korea (1.5L Turbo @1bar with heavy-duty A/T)

I have finished working on my 2003 Lacetti 1.5A/T. And I'm Tunning BBS manager of Club Lacetti(http://www.clublacetti.com). But.... I am working at a company which has no relation with car or tunning.... http://www.clublacetti.com/zbxe/files/attach/images/153/7981387/5f39f8e8895c672445760b140f2732eb...
