Need to remove Head off 2001 Lanos. Any Diagrams Available?
I finally was able to run a compression check after my timing belt went and found that there is no compression. I heard that there is a specific sequence in which I must remove the bolts otherwise I will warp the head. If anyone knows the sequence or knows where I can find a diagram or step by step ...

Trying to tighten timing belt
I recently loosened my timing belt by hand but want to tighten it well with a tool. There are no tools in my posession that will fit behind the coolant pump and adjust the tensioner. I have a diagram that says to use a timing belt tensioner J-42492 but am not sure what that is. I think it is like a ...

Need help trying to tighten tensioner for timing belt
I managed to loosen the timing belt tensioner but I am not able to tighten it back up because I loosened it by hand. I want to tighten it well with a tool but am not sure what tool to use. I heard a "crows foot" (may be called something else) is the only tool that will fit in such a small space. It ...

thanks
I appreciate the ideas. I managed to jam a wrench in the crankshaft and have it hit the frame instead of the oil pan and freed it. And the picture of the deer wasn't meant to be a joke it is hunting season in new york and I was celbrating with a pic of my buck. thanks anyways

Need help on removing crankshaft pulley...
I've taken everything up to the cranshaft pulley off in my quest to remove the timing belt. I'm trying to remove the bolt holding on the crankshaft pulley but it rotates when I try to loosen it. I could put a screwdriver in the slot on the crankshaft and have it hit the oil pan but I'm afraid I will...

Does anyone know a website that sells Daewoo Lanos Parts?
Thanks for the reply I ordered a timing belt for my Lanos. I am going to set the timing and check the compression before I remove the head just in case the valves are still good even though I've been hearing a lot that they are probably messed up. But I need to find the valves, lifters, and head gas...

I need to find timing belt for 01 Lanos!
To start, today was a bad day. I was sitting @ a traffic light and my 2001 Daewoo Lanos Sport stalled out. It would not turn over and as I was pushing it out of the intersection I tried to pop start the clutch. It didn't work. I towed it home and have since removed everything to reveal that my timin...
