Okay, I'm looking into it! Is 30,000 kms not ridiculously low mileage to have to change a timing belt? Is that normal? Strikes me as very very early. If it has to be done it has to be done... I get that... just curious why it's so early. What happens if the belt fails? Is there usually damage, or do...

This is my baby... a 1999 Daewoo Nubira CDX. 2.0L, 5-speed, sunroof, dark blue with grey interior. It has 128,000 kms (I bought it at 75,000 kms). I've taken it all over France, and into Italy and Spain and England and Belgium and Germany and... well, everywhere! No major problems, really... the A/C...

So... I'm guessing that if my 2.0L Nubira timing belt has never been changed and I'm at 130,000 kms I'm on borrowed time...?!?

If there is just a bit of oil in one hole is it a big deal? If it is I will change it... but if the only problem is that I lose a tiny bit of oil and it won't cause any damage I would rather skip replacing the gasket right now.

I found out in a safety check that I have to do the same thing!
