There's a difference between c20let and c20xe heads? An easy way to identify Coscast, is underneath either exhaust port 2 or 3, there's a stamp on it that says coscast, whereas the GM, Kolben Shmidt heads, don't have that. Without a doubt the c20xe's head is far better designed performance ways.

Like the ecotec opel engines, the t20's head is more focused at fuel efficiency, therefore, it has smaller ports, restricting the airflow inside the head.

WHy did you want it from the floor up? Would from the hub to the arch not be better to get the true drop your springs made? If he has larger wheels his ride height is obviously gonna be higher from the ground up? OR did you just take away the extra 2 inches? thtat 17s have over 15s?

Wouldnt be the valve cover gasket. Could be a few things. Could be valve stem oil seals, or piston rings. How's your oil pressure?
