you know i did all the work on mine myself the timing belt is not that hard to do neither is the water pump if you need i can give you step by step instructions i got from this forum as well from a chilton....chilton import 1998-2002 covers the timing belt replacement when changing the cylinder head...

ok so the firing order is not the problem no way i change it makes a difference and no other way allows the car to run while the key is turned....i looked at the crankshaft sensor to make sure its completely attached and it is no way i can think of to make sure its good or to figure out whats wrong ...

I am not understanding you on this. hey spider thanks for the input the fuses are all brand new i replaced all of them fuse block has no corrosion or gunk in the slots.....the spark plugs are how they are listed in the link provided to me for firing order....as far as the vavles hanging open i honestly do not have the money for a new ...

well this is what i have come to the conclusion of....i am selling the car problem is i wont get out of it what i have put into it or what i would need out of it....i cannot get it running and i have replaced anything that makes sense as to why it will not continue running after the key is not turne...

i disconnected the fuel line at the fire wall right before the fuel filter had someone turn the key (because i learned with my tahoe hearing the pump engage is not enough) and i shot fuel across the car....yes i put fresh gas in it as soon as i did the head because i thought maybe it was out of gas ...

ok as far as the sensors go they are fine and do have spark from the plugs as far as fuel lines i retraced all that during the first 2 weeks i was rackin my brain to figure out why it wasnt helpin had a friend over helpin too we could not find anything wrong as far as if it was running before the be...

ok thats what i thought thats why its got coil pack not a distributor cap....ok so i checked i do have the line to the intake manifold its running out of the power brake booster so hopefully someone else has a thought of why its not running....like i said when turning the key it fires and it runs fo...
