Im pretty sure it doesnt have the SRS logo,i will double check this afternoon... which you would think means it doesnt have Airbags..Also i have the "Sports Model" which steering wheel is black and red leather...So it looks different anyway.

2000 Daewoo Lanos sport have Airbag??

Hi guys, Im looking to replace my stock steering wheel, and im just wandering if the Daewoo Lanos Sport came with Drivers Airbag on the steering wheel? If it does i obviously dont want to remove the steering wheel then.. I've researched and most sites say it doesnt...but not sure if there just talkn...

Does this have any proven dyno tuning gains? As in to test the actually design of the header?

Thanks for the tip dude... I sprayed WD40 and put a big of bearing grease on those bolts & Grub Screw ( despite everyone telling me thats not the problem) and so far 3 days later still no noise...I did check the belt and it did seem alittle tight ? PWS= Power Steering pump i didn't say the belt is lose... i said it is stiff and thus slipping a bit and causing the sound you are hearing... can't remedy that with over tesioning the belt BOLTS by default are not a moving part so they don't need lubrication till you are trying to remove them. MMam...

What does PWS stand for ??

Also im pretty sure its not the actual belt that is loose rather just the rusty bolts that needed lubrication..

UPDATE !!!! NOISE FIXED !!!

UPDATEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOISEEE IS GONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guys i was mucking around in the garage today looking at a few things in the engine bay of the lanos and i thought i'd spray some WD40 on what looks to be the waterpump bolts that looked rusty...Guess wat??? The whinning noise went away ...

Thanks for the info.Will do, i'll check the plugs out tomorrow morning... I noticed there was oil in holes last time i did the service and changed the plugs to put fresh ones in... Its due for another service very soon so i'll change them then aswell...

Damn. Think that's my sputtering issue too then? Can you let us know how the car drives after you change the gaskets ? My car has oil in 1 or 2 of the sparkplug holes and i get a slight sputtering issue when i tap the accelerator... I wander if that could be the cause? Let us know if your sputterin...

Hmmm... Interesting...

Well i dont know yet 100% if the belt is stretched...So far all i know is that the Idle pulley and Tensioner are making a LOW-MEDIUM whinning noise...

Hahaha yeh you lucky barstard !! We'll i think i'll look at doing it very soon... just waiting for abit more cash... Just a question... My car seems to be to not be going at its full potential... When you accelerate there is a big noticeable lag before VGIS engages, and when you stab the accelerator...
