is there any way i can test the car to see if it can rev up, ie remove the manifold to see if it revs up with the full exhaust incl, cat & o2 sensor not there.. or does that sound stupid

if not i'll try unplugging the o2 sensor as above, though keep the sugestions coming please

ive since replaced the air idle control valve:

throttle position sensor,

and is all still the same:(

i didnt do much, i just had to move the car with clutch control gave it a little bit of revs and away it went,

a few weeks before it broke down i had a slight bump on the right hand side, this could be why, its too wet to check now but i'll have it looked at soon thankss

if i try start the car with the throttle all the way down its making a deep noise as if theres no air filter on it, for about a second then cuts out :( i was told prior to the car breaking down it had lost alot of power, only did max speed of 50 MPH and there was lierally no 1st or 2nd gear.. is the...

ok, i have replaced the fuel filter..but no difference, tried cleaing the plugs etc, basically tried everything i can think of.. surely the EGR valve i replaced isnt faulty, or maybe the EGR valve isnt the problem? anyone any other ideas?

they just mainly tell me how to remove the clips on the filter, i already have them off at the filter its where they split im stuck on?

hi, i was attempting to replace the fuel filter..and broke the right hand side connector on the fuel pipe, this is what happens when u dont read up on things :( , anyway on closer inspection i see that id have to replace the whole pipe, this is the pipe from the right of the filter to the rear of th...

hi,i had to have my car recovered from what i was told was a faulty EGR valve, i have since replaced this and the car still wont accelerate, even slightly touch the throttle and it cuts out right away, but will idle as normal..
