oversized rod bearings?

Hi. I've looked all over the internet and called a few car dealerships but I can't find anyone who sells oversize rod bearings for the lanos 1.6/ aveo. Have any of you guys found them anywhere before? Thanks.

Lanos Rod Bearing

Ok, I'm not sure exactly how I should word this but can you guys tell me what the gap between the rod bearing and the crankshaft should be for a 2000 Lanos 1.6 or where else I can look to possibly find this info. Thanks.

Yes i did change the belt and all the other components. What happened was the timing idler spun a bearing and caused the belt to slip.

I had the same problem with my Lanos. The problem was that the belt was too tight. This was causing the PSP too make a whining noise. The problem could also be a bad seal on the psp line. If that is the problem watch the psp fluid for leaks. Good luck on finding the problem.

If you have a leaky injector you can sometimes identify it by smelling the oil for gas.

motor swap

I need a little info if anyone can help. Will an Aveo motor fit in a Lanos? If so, are all the mounts the same? Will the ps pump, alternator and a/c compressor fit? Thanks for the help.
