And would the 1.6L still be reliable with all that into it?? i would also be using it as a daily driver. if it is im going to seriously look to do this probably around january...ill save up a little cash so i dont have to take ou...

12-15psi is nothing..... here... drool on this.... 1.6L making 275hp and 239 lb-ft on 20.6 PSI of boost http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5270&highlight=turbo Now don't get me wrong... to manage 12psi on your engine would require some significant work to ensure that it does not detona...

12-15 psi??? isnt that a little much for the engine to handle? i figured the engine could only handle 8-10 at the very most. and i am fine with 150whp for a while...but in time i would like more hp...and maybe i would just do the 2.0 turbo swap and tranny how much money are we looking for me to get ...

your gonna need tranny upgrades too. The auto tranny is only good to about 200 hp at the crank...so maybe 180 at the wheels. and 200 torque at the crank as well...at least that's the gm rating for it. I don't know about the manual but I assume it's about the same maybe a little more if you are very...

With the Aveo's non-return fuel system it will be harder to make a "rough" tune. I don't think there is much of a chance that someone will spend the time to crack and rewriting the newer Delphi ECU for use with a turbo..... there is virtually no market.... so why would anyone waist their time on mo...

There's a company making a turbo kit...I'll get the link to it...I don't know if anyone has bought it or if it is any good though. If I remember they don't change the fuel injectors or any fuel components and that worried some of us though. Jimmy well thats not something hard that we couldnt fix af...

im not gonna keep stock internals for this but audacity was talking about I agree. 10psi is too far for any reliability unless you intend on running a water-cooled intercooler, alcohol injection, or high test fuel all the time. is that all still needed if i upgrade internals?? i kind of like the ide...
