It's a 2000 1.6 Lanos SX. I guess at the point when it snapped it was running less than a minute. It wasn't too long after I started then shifted in reverse that the engine died after

Hey everyone, just found out the problem of my car not starting up - timing belt snapped. Now my woo is sitting it out in NY still waiting its fate. So what would you guys suggest? Get it fixed, swap engines or just get a new car? I don't really know exactly the extent of damage that has been done H...

OK I'm basically experiencing similar symptoms. I drove down to my cousins in Rockland County, NY and tried to move my car yesterday. It started then died just before I could reverse out. thanks... i knew i should've did this earlier. just i need to get a new one soon cuz i need to get my car emission tested so i can get my registration stickers which expire the 24th. thats why i was asking if i could just chop it off from the inlet pipe and attach something else

if you're really interested in putting a carpc in your woo you should read up in the mp3car.com. that should answer a lot of your questions like feeding power, hooking it up to your electrical system etc.

its really not that hard at all. it all depends on how clean you want the fab work to be.

its not the knob thats loose mmamdouh. if thats what you are referring to, its the actual stick itself. in gear or even in neutral, you can sway the stick a fair bit from side to side or up and down. i think its also cause for some vibrations i hear in the car. like i'll hear it if i dont hold it. c...
