LANOS fog lights

Does anyone know for sure if a '99 Lanos SE that came WITHOUT factory fog lights is pre-wired for them? I checked the fuse box, and the space for the foglight relay is empty, but I wondered if the wiring is there (for the switch and the lights). If not, has anyone wired their own foglights? If so, c...

I'm betting you have a seriously blown head gasket. Don't drive the car,get it fixed right away or you'll destroy the engine.

Lanos 1.6 DOHC timing belt DONE....some details

plug wires

Daewoo plug wires are crap. I just replaced the wires in my friend's Lanos 1.6 DOHC with a set he got at Foreign Autopart in Boston for about $50. They fit perfectly and the car runs 100% better. It was stalling and hesitating before and had very little power. Now it runs like it did when it was new...

More specific stuff...

The main things I need to know are: 1. Do you need a puller to remove the crankshaft pulley? Will a three-fingered puller work? 2. The car has 68,000 on it. Should the water pump also be replaced, or are they generally good for more miles than that? 3. Is the Daewoo timing belt tool (basically a big...

Lanos 1.6 DOHC timing belt replacement

I need to replace my '99 Lanos timing belt this weekend. I've done this job on other cars, but never a Daewoo. Has anyone changed their Lanos timing belt? If so, any explanation, tips, tricks, or advice would be much appreciated.
