Thanks for the response. Did you then have to replace the head gasket or did you just tighten the head bolts back down.

I bought my daughter a 2000 lanos with the 1.5 engine, and recently discovered 1 lobe on the camshaft has been ground away due to bad maintenance and 1 of the oil pasageways being blocked...
