Hmm I nver herd of the missing bolt holes before. I was under the assumption that the T20 and T22 blocks were the same minus the deck height. If so then I willhave to figure something out. In the meantime however, I have decided to drop my overall expected output of the engine to 300 at the crank a...

Well, tuning hasn't begun as of yet and probably won't begin until the motor is pulled and rebuilt with forged pistons, steel rods, etc.. for turbo. What I had originally done was put some QED cams that I bought (they have higher duration and about the same lift as stock) in the head. They made the ...

Part swapability

Parts for Daewoo engines in the US are kind of expensive... So...... I was wondering if anyone would know if I can use the idler pulleys, water pump, timing belt, and maybe other pieces from the 1.6L E-tec motor that comes in the new Chevy Aveos? Or maybe parts for an optra? But they are only availa...

As an update.. The latest is that I put the daewoo injectors back in and it actually feels a little better during acceleration. The video above was with sunbird injectors.. So I'll have to get a vid with the daewoos when I get the chance to see if there really is a change. Right now I'm just waiting...

Saab 93 exhaust manifold similarity?

Do Saab 93's in the states with turbo 2.0 share the same exhaust ports and distances as the T20SED? I remember reading somewhere that the engines are alike and the design of the saab 2.0 was actually based off of other motors such as the T20.

btw.. that video does it no justice. When I manually shift with the auto trans it accelerates a lot quicker. But I'm swapping the stock intake cam back in it, thanks to the advice of PontiacJeff, and it should bring the power band back down from around 3800-4000rpm to 2500 I hope.
