My engine check light is on. I was told it was a weak 12 volt signal too the cam sensor. I checked the harness. Seems OK Any idea using a volt meter testing the input and output signals. The car drives fine. When the codes are cleared the check light still comes back showing the same code. More info...

Nearest I have been able to tell on these cars is a collapsing lifter. When you take off cam shaft the lifters should be solid. (Once it is pumped up it stays pumped up).
