Check light on, weak 12 volt signal too cam sensor.
My engine check light is on. I was told it was a weak 12 volt signal too the cam sensor. I checked the harness. Seems OK Any idea using a volt meter testing the input and output signals. The car drives fine. When the codes are cleared the check light still comes back showing the same code. More info...

Nearest I have been able to tell on these cars is a collapsing lifter. When you take off cam shaft the lifters should be solid. (Once it is pumped up it stays pumped up). If you can press the tappet part that makes contact with valve stem and if it pushes in and out its bad. What happens is the oil ...
