Aftermarket cruise for Lanos
Hello, Does anyone have any information on aftermarket cruise control units for a Lanos? I've seen a couple that claim to be compatible, but I'm worried that they will just have very generic installation instructions (a complaint I've heard a lot.) Specifically, has anyone added cruise control to a ...

I have said this before and I don't get sick of telling people: The spark plugs/wires that came with the Lanos (and perhaps all other Daewoos) are crap. You're doing yourself a disfavor if you don't replace them. I had a ton of hesitation and stumbling before I replaced the plugs and wires in my Lan...

D-Jetronic injection.... it must be Bosch.... I can't see Porsche using anyone else (although I don't know a damned thing about fuel injected Porsche engines).... I've fooled with an old 914 engine but that was just a glorified VW engine (or you could say the old VW engines were a slightly less pot...

You know, I had a very similar thing happen a couple times. Smoke would come out my air vents for a short period of time and fill the car with smoke. The smoke would stop after a few seconds, but it was very scary. I took my Lanos to the dealer and they couldn't figure out what was going on. It hasn...

Junk Yard
You want a stock rim off a Lanos? I say go to a junk yard. Call your nearest junkyard / wrecking yard that has a decent inventory of recent year cars. You should be able to find a wrecked Lanos by simply calling around and asking if they have any. My best advise is just call and be polite and ask ab...

And what you think, in the middle of the bumper between the stock foglighs. :?: I tried there too. The problem with that location is that the bottom of the Hella's drop slightly below the the bottom edge of the bumper. That, of course, means that I would be minus 2 Hella lights on the first speedbu...

yep. I agree with you they'd probably look better there. In fact, that is where I was originally going to put them. Unfortunately, they simply won't fit there without some major work. The openings are simply too small and oddly shaped to accomidate them without some cutting and perhaps fiberglass wo...

Daewoo seat interchangablity
Does anyone know if Leganza front seats will fit in a Lanos? Are the brackets compatible or no?

You might not be able to. Your best bet is to locate a manufacturer in Korea and try to get something imported (or find someone that will import it for you.) Body Kits for Daewoos is a lesson in the Economics of Scale. Not many Daewoos were sold in the US, so the demand for body kits and aftermarket...

I just checked www.tirerack.com and all their wheels that fit a 2000 Lanos range from +35 to +38 offset. Now I'm not sure what to think.

Offsets
Can anyone give me information on correct offsets for aftermarket wheels for a Daewoo Lanos? What will work, what won't? I see 40mm and 45mm offsets, but I'm not sure what to get.
