leganza 2001: hi have a problem with abs, its very simple ;) the geared ring on the front driveshaft has broken off, so now the abs light stays on. question can one buy this ring or do i have to buy a full driveshaft? (it would be a pity to scrap a fully servicable drive shaft). i am aware that the ...

try taking the valve cover off turn the engin by hand and see if oil comes up into the cams, sounds like the oil is not getting to the cams the gallery's could be blocked, try draining the oil then, flushing the system, new oil filter, fresh oil.

thanks m.. the fluid was changed when the master and slave cyclinders were changed.(dot 5.1); ithink the only answer it to strip the clutch out, i am suspecting either the relise bearing sticking on the shaft or a bent finger on the clutch plate, either way it has to come out.... i was prob being la...

hi guys/gals, the clutch on the leggy has become random,or at least the pedle operation has. at times the clutch pedle feels like theres a brick under it but after two or three tries it reverts back to normal, other times the clutch operates perfectly then out of the blue the gears are difficult to s...

when i first did my leggy i was also bemused by this. firstly if you removed the rocker cover set it back in place, as you look at it from the cam gear end the left hand mark on the cover refers to the inlet so use the line on the cam gear that has inlet stamped beside it (on the inner rim i think),...

replaced all spining parts(waterpump, idlers, tensioner) plus oilseals, and while i was at it checked the ohc bearings. upon close inspection found that on the inlet cam the bearing closest to the timing belt had a slight burr to one edge, so i rubbed it of with very fine wet and dry being careful not...
