nah, i'm not sure if it needs to be jacked up, i just thought that it had to be (had a weird picture in my mind of my car collapsing as soon as i took those nuts off... lol) well if you can do it while the car is standing on its own 4 wheels... i'll do it too. firstly... need a job let alone the mon...

ive seen a couple of cars with hood spacers (probably ones that are too big) and it makes some of them look like the hood's about to fly off!
I think I would probably go with using the empty wheel well to put it. Just need to get some extra piping.

Oh i've seen that one, i had a picture of one very similar to that one (if not the exact same) It was one of Nissan's concept car design ideas. They're still not sure about production for that car, but only 2 or 3 prototypes have been made.

hopefully it shouldn't give any problems with the two nuts upside down, as long as their tight enough.

just curious... did you have to jack the front of your car up when fitting the strut bar? or did u just do it as it was standing there?

I finally got around to removing the bottom of the original air filter, and used a steel mounting bracket and some cable ties to keep the new air filter in place, like so: http://upload3.postimage.org/134100/0419_140931.jpg http://upload3.postimage.org/134107/0419_140940.jpg All was good, and it loo...

you may be thinking of the Skyline G35 (aka Infiniti G35) as that looks quite similar to the 350z. I don't see why they badged the G35 as the new skyline, they are already available in the UK as skylines, but i hate the new look of the G35.

thanx. I'll have a look around some shops (or on EBay).
maybe they'll specify somewhere what is in the package.

EDIT: would I need fog lights specially made for Daewoo? or can I just use ones that would fit the bay?

Fitting fog lights on Lanos

I've seen lots of people adding fog lights to their cars... and it looks damn good! I've noticed my Lanos has two empty bays at the front for fog lights (as they all do.) and I was thinking maybe I should put some in aswell, but not the average plain white light ones... maybe slightly blue tinted on...

The R34 truly is a beast! lol Are they hard to find in other places of the world? because here in the UK you can pick up a stock R34 GT-T (RearWheelDrive) for around ?10,000 - ?15,000 For example, here is one on EBay now: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-Skyline-R34-GT-Turbo_W0QQitemZ4630371742QQcategor...

I too am a big Nissan fan myself. For my second car I want to get a Nissan 200SX S14a... but that won't be for at least another 3 to 5 years, so I'll be here for quite a while.
Not really a big Honda fan either, the only area of Honda that I like are their Civic's "rev-happy" engines.

high performance spark plugs are always a good idea and they do give a slight boost in the acceleration. As far as the ignition wires go (they are the ones that actually power the spark plugs) if you replace them with better quality wires (possibly thickers ones) which allow for more electricity to ...
