i was considering re-wiring all the speakers, but in its current state the wires seem fine. im sure its something that no one has checked, like a fuse or something. currently there is no signal at all being sent to the speakers, so obviously somewhere a connection is lost at some point of connection...

ok, ive checked the wire harness that plugs directly into the head unit, and it works fine, did a test using another speaker and it worked. so i think i know where the problem is now, it is somewhere in the factory fitted wiring between the speakers them selves and the ports/wires in the dash that c...

slight problem here... help!

ok ,so here's the story and details: i have a 2002 lanos SE hatchback. the car still has its stock speakers, 1 in each front door and 2 in the back. when i bought the car i got a JVC head unit with it, brand new and working. the speakers have also been tested and they work perfectly. so the speakers...

does anyone know anything about the laws concerning having a licence plate on the front of ur car in the UK? cos if its allowed to be removed... then it would really help with not getting caught by certain speed cameras!!

probably a little late to say this, if you havnt already done it, but those metal clips around the stock air box can be removed. they simply un clip downwards and slide out.

yeah, the hood spacers are placed near the hinges of the bonnet ( just in front of the wind screen ) and i think you may need some minor modification to the hinges to use the hood spacers.

well whether UK make or import fuel... ( i dnt know which ) it costs the major companies and government only around 6 pennies per litre when they buy/make it. so its one hell of a profit game for them.
