Hi,

ok - pressed out, makes sense, but is there a special tool to do this?

I have to replace the hub because I broke off a lug bolt in the hub and then proceeded to destroy the threads when trying to drill it out

FUN, lots of FUN

Lanos wheel hub removal

Hi, I am trying to replace the right front wheel hub on my 2001 1.5 lanos, but am unable to remove the hub. It looks like it should just slide out of the wheel bearing, but no amount of force (using a gear puller) will get it to come off. Any ideas, suggestions? The part I am trying to replace is ma...

update

partsource.ca was able to get these tie rod ends for me at $30 each here in Ontario.

I should have them by 5pm and then we'll see if they fit up properly.

Daewoo Lanos tie rod ends

Hi,

Quick question - are the tie rod ends for the canadian Lanos Hatchback 1.5l the same as the Pontiac Lemans 2.0?

Cheers

2001 Lanos 1.5 Suspension parts query

Hi, I have a 2001 1.5l Canadian Lanos 3 door, I need to find front suspension parts and could use advice. I'm looking for control arm bushings, and wondering if anyone makes the polyurethane bushing for this setup. In my last car the switch to polyU bushings and swaybar connectors made an incredible...

Lanos 3dr 1.5 canadian

I have two questions, and let me preface this by stating I spent a couple hours on here last night looking for the answer because I didn't want to be embarrassed by 'its already here, just search' responses I have a Canadian Lanos 1.5 - are the rotors and pads the same as those in the 1.6? All of th...

Hi, I went out and picked up a set of G-Power Platinum GR45GPs. Worked perfect Apparently there is a difference between the plugs for the 1.5 and 1.6 - although I have a set of Bosch Platinums for the 1.6 and could not find any physical difference (threads, length, diameter are all the same) except ...

Thanks 306D, One last clarification, and I hope I'm not trying anyone's patience.

You said 'You can also use...' Does this mean the 1.6 plugs can be used in the 1.5?

Thanks for all your help on this.

Thanks for the info, I checked your site, we will talk soon.

As for the plugs for the 1.5, I can only find the Bosch 3708 or NGK 7092 (G power Plat.) which are both for the 1.6

Do you have a Bosch or NGK part number? That way I feel like less of a goof when asking at the parts desk

Thanks
Jeremy

Lanos 1.5

I apologize if my first post is a bit obtuse, I spent several hours in the forums looking for the answers before asking. I have a 2001 Lanos with the 1.5l (Canadian) Where do I get spark plugs for this car? I seem to be able to find all kinds for the 1.6 Question 2, are there current model vehicles ...
