Finally
 Well as I said I was not working on this fast. I finally got the head off.  4 broken valves and a cracked piston, to sum it all up. Next thing that comes right to mind is, is it worth a total rebuild. Well I need to find out how much (and where to find) the parts would be. Does anyb...

Head Bolts
1. OK this may seem like a silly question. Head Bolts for a Leganza 2.2, Torx size 50? Does it take an impact wrench to loosen these things?
2. Where can I find gasket sets? I just keep getting funny looks when I as for any part for a DAEWOO.

This may sound like a silly question but, how do I do a compression check when things don't turn? That's what I'm trying to ask. Is it OK to turn the crank without the timing belt connected. I don't want to bend a valve trying to check for a bent valve. I should probably know this. Oh and after I go...

Cam cover is off, nothing obvious. Should the cams turn easily with the belt off? The belt is so loose from the broken roller I don't want to try and turn things and mess them up. But then they may already be. All the lifters are up making contact with the cam lobes. I don't want to pull the head ju...

http://upload4.postimage.org/86483/IMG_0688.jpg Here is the picture of the broken timing belt roller guide. Still haven't gotten around to pulling the cam cover yet. Just don't want to pull it off and see anything broken or bent in there. http://upload4.postimage.org/86514/IMG_0689.jpg This is what...

Timing belt pulley
OK I got the starter back on, and the timing belt cover pulled. Belt is intact but it looks loose just on the bottom. One of what looks to be just a timing belt pulley is, well doesn't look good :( There was a piece that looks like a ball bearing cage (I'm an electric motor head), but I know there a...

Thank's MMamdouh, the timing cover was my next step. Luckily this car is the third car so my wife and I are not stranded. Also means I work on it when I get the chance and that means  well you get the point. Going to put the starter back on first and then pull the cam cover and then the timing...

Won't Start
OK, I'm a bit embarassed. I have worked on a lot of older cars and this one I don't understand. Have a 2001 Laganza that just started sputering and died at the post office. Couldn't get it started again. Would turn over but wouldn't start. Thought maybe a clogged fuel filter or a vapor lock since I ...
