I have a 1.6L and purchased a chip online from ebay......Before I put my exhaust on I noticed alot of gain.....but after I do not notice anything whether it is in or not....Also, with the chip in, After I would be going fast (aboce 5000 rpm's) and push the clutch in letting the car go back to idle, ...

What type of components do you have....the reason I ask is because if you are running extremely high draw ones i.e. Pyramid or Legacy - that could be contributing to your problem. But it still sounds like a mechanical problem... Does the problem go away when the car warms up? Do you get a check engi...

If your car was doing this when you are blasting your stereo then it is likely that it is the problem.....if not I do not see why there are problems being caused to your engine when your stereo is not on....then again I am not too familiar with the fact that if you have an ud pulley if your alternat...

well that makes sense now that i think about it!!

I now run almost dead even with an 05 focus with about 155-160 hp from a cat-back, cai, and throttle body. so zinc would be a bad thing then....the reason I ask is because the fact that I thought a brake pad should be smooth not rough, because if it is rough won't it score and scratch the rotor?? or am I totally crazy?

I found this set on ebay....Can anyone tell me if these would be worthit or not (my stock rotors are warped to hell so let me know)! thanks!

What is the benefit of removing your rear resonator?

The only reason I did was to ensure some gain as far as sound goes.
