Ok so now I've gone out and changed the timing marks to where the arrows face directly at each other. It almost started, no backfire anymore, and then it stopped trying to start. I checked the marks again and they're off!!! I went through this two more times and each time I line the marks up and try...

Each cam has 2 marks on them. They both have just a line mark and they both have an arrow. Do I need to put both of the arrows up to the top of the timing belt cover? Or vise versa? I'm desperate!!!
