Well i've been doing some more electric supercharging research with my free time, and it actually looks like a feesable project. Theres a company (boosthead.com) that actually makes a supercharger unit designed to run at high voltage and actually produces up to 15psi. All you need to do is buy some ...

very ridiculous boost idea....

As you can probably tell i have alot of free time on my hands. I was sitting around thinking of an easy practical way to boost without necisarily using a turbo or supercharger. If you want lots of boost of 6 psi or more then you probably need a turbo. But i was looking at this stupid air blower thin...

which fog lights fit the aveo?

I want to get some fog lights for my '04 aveo. seems like you can get a pair pretty cheaply for $50 or so. I'm just not sure where to get some to fit the aveo. Any of you guys have fog lights in your aveo?

Would a honda civic turbo kit fit a lanos or aveo 1.6??

Hey fellas. My buddy just bought his new car today ( 97 volvo 850 turbo, 240hp) and im totally jealous of the power he pulls out of it. I reallllly need a turbo kit for my aveo so we can race!! its actually not too bad, i definately notice a big difference from those little 14's. I can feel the larger bumps alot more but the overall ride is pretty smooth. It's a small price to pay for better road handling

400$ isnt bad at all, the only 2.0l engines i could find were on ebay for like 1200 bucks, not that i'd buy an engine from ebay considering the shipping, and if it was faulty youd most likely be screwed.

yeah but the reasoning behind this was to save yourself money, cause a 2.0l is gonna cost you in the thousands.

Hmm, well how about making it an even longer stroke, would it be possible to add a few mm downward or would you face the same problem?

An easy way to convert your 1.6l to a 1.8??

This just poped into my head when i was reading about this guy who bored out his cylinders to increase the volume. the 1.6 has a 79x81.5 bore and stroke, lets say you add 3mm to both the bore and the stroke to make it 82x84.5. If you do the math for the volume of each cylinder it adds up to a total ...
