Our Lanos is a RHD edition and I can't recall a similar recall in Australia.
Will strip the carpet out and examine the harness in the driver footwell when time permits.
It has to be something in that section - just don't know where.

If it helps anybody else out there I isolated this particular fault on our vehicle to the ECM fuse going open circuit. The fuse in question is found on wall of passenger side footwell. It is marked F17 15A ECM (IGN) on the little clip-on lid for that fuse block. Normal colour for 15A mini-fuse is bl...

Hi nick, The Daewoo service agents have had a look at it and officially can't find anything wrong (suprise, suprise) with the vehicle. They are so good they didn't even notice the EGR hose from the rocker cover to the air intake was melted in two and hanging loose. I'll have another look but it all ...
