Re: Ethanol on Espero
i actually saw that info already however i'm still thinking that it might be just referring to newer models of Daewoo, since it specified "GM" Daewoo.
That's why i tried to post a question here and see what info i could get. I think i may choose to believe your manual (less expense for me : )

Re: MMamdouh's Woo
the setup you mentioned was done on my dad's car (the maroon lanos) as he is an "anti mods" man so the engine bay had to look OEM http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6120 on my car (the black lanos) i removed the air box completely and used a 2" PVC pipe from the rubber hose to the filt...

Ethanol on Espero
need your help guys, especially those with Esperos here in the Philippines, all gas vendors are now changing their basic unleaded gasoline to a 10% ethanol mixture. I need to confirm if it's ok for my Espero. Else, i will be forced to use a higher octane gasoline (which of course is more expensive) ...

Re: gas-saving tips
I think Davinci really makes sense. especially the comparison between M/T and A/T one more question, suppose your car is running, you're in gear (manual tranny), then you turn the key off. What will happen? Has anyone tried this already? (don't want to try it unless i know what would happen :) ) bas...

Re: MMamdouh's Woo
Hi MM,
about your CAI, did you leave the original airbox (w/ air filter removed) still in place and just replaced the resonator (inside the wheel well) with the new round filter?
If you didn't, you think i can do this?

Re: gas-saving tips
engine braking doesnt use any fuel. when the engine is in neutral, it idles. Idling requires fuel. By engine braking you save petrol and brake pads. The only way you could damage transmission components is if you shifted down going too fast cause it would smoke your clutch.. have someone already ac...

overheating when A/C is on
Hello i have this problem with my Espero my temp is rising way above the mid level of the gauge whenever my A/C is on. I just turn the A/C off in fear of overheating. Then when the A/C is already turned off, the temp would stabilize at mid level What do you think is the cause of the problem - A/C sy...
