so I guess its safe to assume the D16 can take around 160 of torque without to much risk...not so bad...for now hehe I could always start with that and look more into a D20 swap later

other question...I read that our tranny(D16?) would fit to the u20sed but can it handle the power because of course I would like to boost the 2.0L a little(or a lot lol) the D20 is supposed to be stronger so in that case it would be a better choice but anyone know if it can be used, dont tell me eve...

I doubt any mechanical part is different so if the us ecu doesn't change anything I guess gm really under rated it...aaaw gm can be so ?%@$@? sometimes

the wap is for an aveo...and it seems according to other aveo owners that the easier would be the the 2l since the 1.6 tranny would fit the u20sed but if you tell me it will also fit those engine it could change things[/quote]

Hi I' m looking for a u20sed swap and from what i read it can be found in optra/reno/forenza The problem is i am in canada and according to the canada gm site the optra is 119hp ad the us version is 126hp anyone here know what is the difference between those because it would be a lot easier to get a...

Nubira TB on 1.6 DOHC

I heard the throttle body of a nubira fit on the 1.6 DOHC E-Tech.
If so is there any gains? and what is the required fitting?
