ok, so even though they are the "same" trans they arent the same? whats different? mounts, bell housing, or what? again thanks for the advise

i was wondering about the other trans because if i can get a wrecked car with a compairable trans (only in manual) i would be able to do the conversion at lower cost, i like my car (except for the trans) and i still owe $ on it so i cant sell it, so if i just do the mods i want i will be REALLY happ...

ok but can i bolt a trans from a nother car up to my engine since they r the same trans? or is it a different bellhousing?

yeah, the problem is that i am REALLY hard on my car, i have already smoked 1 trans (fried the clutch bands) and i think mine is about to go again (39000 miles) so i really want a different trans (probly gonna go manual) thats the main project for the spring, any one wanna help?

ok so if it is a common trans would i be able to bolt a trans from a sunfire (or another car with that trans) to it, or is the bell housing bolt pattern different?

not that i care what others think, but do all of you fellow woo owners get shit from nonwoo owners about you car? i have people calling it a gaywoo and shit ( but yet they drive a chrysler minivan????) i think its funny when people give me shit about it, but im just wondering if im the only one?

yeah i would love to have the earlier model tail lights but that is alot of custom (oh no) maybe in the spring when i do the body, but for now its the interior ill work on
