Re: My new ride and what have I been up to
Wow! Looks great, i have to say i'd love to go sailing! Although in my local area... not much to do with a sail boat... Arizona doesn't have too much in the ways of water anyway... oh well I'll live vicariously through you.

Re: Looking to start a turbo project on a spare motor
So I'm buying a car from the junk yard, going to tear out the motor and transmission and put it into the hatch, and I'll be rebuilding the motor currently in the hatch... The rebuilt motor will be my turboed motor... As far as transmissions go, i know we don't have the best transmissions... so i'm g...

Erratic Idle.
Whenever I've got my Nubira up to operating temp or a little below operating temp... and I'm driving the Idle, whether it be from a stop or coming to a stop, begins to surge slightly. It's not smooth, it almost sounds like I have some mean cams in the car! Problem is, I can't quite pin down the reas...

Re: Is there a suspension bushings kit out there somewhere?
Are polyurethane bushings worth getting at all? And if so is there a car with the same suspension setup that I can just buy a kit for (Like the astra or something)?

Just curious if anyone has the info on the transmission, specs, and what kind of transmission the 6 speed is. Just looking to see just in case I find a future project in it.

If i were in your shoes I'd probably see the same logic out of it... Knowing what I know I'd have to agree with you... Hasty decisions are made by youthful people they don't look past the day... all it's ever been about is now now now... So i definitely see you're point of view and I Agree actually....

Re: Is there a suspension bushings kit out there somewhere?
are the sleeves for in the middle of the bushings on the control arms? No, the sleeves are for the rear bushing 96308002 that is "hollowed". Just use common sense for reinserting sleeves and don't rely on service manual or you can't reinsert properly the control arm. Sleeve acts as centering ddevic...

Re: how are the front hub/bearings are put together?
The procedure is well explained (better than I can do) in the "FRONT SUSPENSION" section of service manual. Here is a link valid for 5 days: http://demo.ovh.com/en/6613371192f20ae1b1b623d1c174f7e8/ . You'll need some pullers to remove/install hub & bearing. I'm afraid that by removing the hub the b...
