Replaced coil pack
Replaced Spark Plugs
Replaced Leads
Used injector cleaner
Replaced Petrol
Idles ok
when I drive and get to 40Km it just dies and has no power and starts to pig root
I can jump in and do 20km ok
Any other ideas

ANyway the saga Replaced all the spark plugs Replaced all the leads I can remove lead from cyclinder 1 and mnake no difference. Everyone is pointing at the coil pack, so I have given in and ordered one... Samantha +1 if the engine behaviour doesn't change when you do that then the coil pack is faul...

can you get a coil pack from a friend to test if yours is bad? i guess the coil pack will be expensive so it is better to test first before you spend your money. also if the coil pack is bad it will show at all speeds... this sounds like bad spark plugs or bad wires so i'd start by testing/replacin...

Hi I recently drped a timing belt on a sohc 1.5l I bent sime valves so I got a replacement motor from the wreckers as a alternative (someone owed me a favour) Anyway the motor idles, but top speed is about 110kmh.
