Well guys it seems my 199 Lanos S (1.5L SOHC) has the Teves pads with the smaller discs. When I removed the wheel I saw the T-Shaped ending and the clip..

Is this possible?? Has anybody else seen this before?

Hello, time to change my front pads. Last set I bought from the dealer for WAY too much, and they didn't last very long. I can get other pads from a few autoparts stores in the area, but two types seem to be available, and all are listed for the 1.6 and you need the VIN#. Searching the forums got me...

I know this is an old thread, but what year/model/etc Lemans did you buy the tie-rod for?

The dealer wants to rip me off for 83$ (CDN) but If I can get the part through NAPA, it would be a lot cheaper!

Just thought i'd let you know... the problem was with neither the fuel rail, injectors or filters.... I was just extremly unlucky.... within a few minutes of trying out my car with the new fuel filter, the coil pack blew... the engine was running off two cylinders! (that explains the shake and lack ...

The car actually ran great for a couple of minutes. We stopped to pickup something. When we restarted the car, we did get a CEL... (maybe not the smartest thing, but we reset the ecu afterwards.. no CELs anymore)

Anybody know if a Lanos 1.6 fuel filter will fit a 1.5 hatchback?
