Daewooluvr's 2000 Lanos HB
Hey guys,
Here's a link to my first Lanos: (I miss it)
http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtop ... 32&start=0
Here's a link to my current Lanos: (Tony Cliffton would be proud) (for those that don't know who Tony Cliffton is click here)
http://www.daewootech.com/forum/viewtop ... 22&start=0
I figured I'd consolidate everything in one post.
Here's what I've been working on recently.
2001+ Tail lights
Halfway Done
Done, they look better in person, the glare makes them look hazy.
HID bi-xenon projector headlights
It's coming!
Headlight Housing separated and laid out. Projectors ready to go in.
Closer view of the projector.

I like these shrouds:daewooluvr wrote:I haven't decided on a shroud yet. I can either purchase one or fabricate one.mr_g wrote:How will you make projector cover?

I'd have to double check everything to make sure they'd fit.

Can't wait to get them installed. Unfortunately I have to get the car running again first.mr_g wrote:It's probably even better... Mine is low beam only...benzino wrote:Oh sweet!
Is the high beam as good as regular halogen?
Also, I'm thinking about doing some daytime running lights like the Audi R8
What do ya think?
I have a ton of LEDs but they're all 5mm focused beam. For this I might need some 10mm wide dispersement beams.
I'll do some more research into it.

Yep, I swapped the suspension before I got rid of the white car. Yeah Eibach says it's 1.2" but it's actually a bit lower than that. I have about 2.75" clearance in front with my stock rims on. About 3" with the 17" rims.daewoomofo wrote:it looks like the eibachs he had on the white car, but i could be wrong. its suposed to be a 1.2 drop, but mine came out to like 2.3 - 3 in the front!

Re: Daewooluvr's 2000 Lanos HB
Updates:
Ended up replacing both ball joints and outer tie rod ends.
Got some "new" wheels.
Closeup (16"x7" Primax universal 4 lug - +38mm offset, 205/45/16 Toyo Proxies)
Before: (14" stock allow wheels - powdercoated white)
After: (only got the front two on right now)
Going to put the rear two on tonight.
