Fun story.
I live in rural environment. For some time there was spiders squatting in the hulls of my outside mirrors. In addition to their ugly webs there was poo on paint work.
After trying several times to dislodge them with a water jet (they always returned) I slipped platelet anti-mosquito in mirrors and spiders went elsewhere.
