Anyone familiar with the Isuzu Implulse RS AWD?

Post by Davinci_360 »

I keep seeing an Isuzu Impulse RS AWD for sale on Craigslist, and I was wondering if anyone on here knows about them. The guy is only asking $1000 for it, and it's a rare car to find - I have to say I'm a little tempted to buy it. According to the "Master List... Year, Make, Model, Engine code, Tranny Code" post it uses our engine bellhousing bolt pattern, so it would be an AWD option for any high-output Daewoo/Opel engine.

Does anyone have any experience with one of these cars?

If it's a turbo awd car then it's def worth 1.000. That car was basicly a failed atempt to compete with the likes of the eclipse turbos which came out at the same time...it has less horsepower but can make a great starting point for a project. I believe the engine if it's turbo should be a 1.6 liter.

The Isuzu Impulse AWD has a very nice engine and is a decent car.

Personally I don't know if I would swap a Daewoo engine into it.... I'd just rebuild the factory turbo engine which was good for a fairly substancial amount of horsepower.
