Post by daewooluvr »

Does anyone have a wiring diagram to show which wires from the headlight plug to go which pins in the headlamp plug?

of course the replacement harness I got has the wrong colors.

headlamp plug has black, green, and red wires coming out.

The new headlight plug harness has black, yellow, and blue. WTF

They work but they seem really dim still. Any thoughts? Could it be a bad relay?

Is it a dual filament single bulb? Check voltage with DVM (less than 10$) at battery and lamp directly. Pic of your headlamp?

Turns out I had it wired up as 9004 instead of 9007. I had them working perfectly last night but then one headlight went out this morn.
I'm guessing the bulb burn out since it was wired up wrong first. I'll tear it back apart tonight to check.

I've got the wiring manual but I loaned it to a friend and have to get it back. I am going away for a couple weeks, if you can wait? If you figured it out don't worry about it.
