Ok, does anyone know what the differences are for the ECUs with different VINs?

Will an ECU from VIN 576543+ work in a Lanos from VIN 425980 thru VIN 576542 ?

What difference is there? I know VIN 576543+ is the second half of 2000 and up.

I thought the only difference with the change in 2000 was with the camshaft position sensor recall...after a certain vin number the vehicles were not effected...I believe the actual ECU is the same...just cps setup was fixed.
