4T40E - Daewoo Automatic Transmission

actually the 4T40E is one of GM's most popular automatics. it has at least three different configurations/bell housings that I know of and perhaps more.

Yeh, they have quite a few but the cavalier bellhouseing will not work on our engines

ok most guys leave there cars w/ the 4t40E stock till around 200-250 hp, one guy got up to 300 hp and didnt have many issues with it. Worked over 4T40E are said to be good to around 700hp but i cannot say that for sure because i have yet to see one have that much hp behind it.

Good info on this 4T40 Tranny, what I have being looking for is the wiring diagram of this tranny, color codes etc. Trying to control TCC and the EPC manually. thanks in advance TURBO.
