Lanos won't upshift

Post by 2056bill »

Hi my 2002 Lanos Auto trans. with 70,000 miles starts out in 2nd. and
won't upshift in D3 or D4 it will down shift to . Now it will start shifting
right sometimes. Now when it shops shifting I stop the car and turn it
off and restart and it starts shifting right. This started with a loose
battery ground cable. I have no engine codes.
No one in my area can read Daewoo transmission codes only engine codes.

what country are you in? have you tried a former Daewoo dealer or suzuki dealer if you're in the US? have you tried a Chevy dealer if you're in canada or europe? A shop specializing in transmission repair may be able to read codes.
