Main Support is Available...

Post by gse_turbo »

Our Main Cap Support is available for the the 1.8/2.0/2.2 "Bid Block" motors.

The price listed on daftart.com, $95.00 for support alone, will have to be updated to include the price of the hardware, $13.00 for 10.9 grade bolts and washers.

That is a good question and you'll here a lot of different responses. The Leganza, (Isuzu) Rodeo and Amigo (all with the same 2.2) come with one from the factory and they put out around 135hp. All of the Z20 motors come with one in one form or another and the all very from the low to mid 200hp range.

By using the support you are adding rigidity to the bottom end but the biggest advantage is that you are dispersing vibrations from the crank away from the bottom end and out to the block which increases the efficiency and ability to produce power.
