Sparkplug holes FULL of oil! PLEASE HELP

The sparkplug holes where the wire goes in is full of oil... Is this normal or did i blow a head gasket or somthing.

Cam cover gasket, not head gasket.

It's a common failure in not only the Daewoo engines, but also any DOHC where the plugs are deep in the head.

If you can find a valve cover gasket for a Lanos at your local Autozone, you're very very lucky.

well im back and autozone, advanced and countless other places and noone could get one... Where else can i find one and for how much?

The internet. There are plenty of places on the internet to buy them. Try typing "Lanos Valve Cover Gasket" in google. Or look on Ebay... That's about your only options really.

You may also need the little half-moon shaped; "end plugs" they also can leak. I stuck mine to the head w/soft permatex.

I think it's 8, maybe 10 bolts. You'll need the appropriate socket and a razorblade to clean it up. less than an hour's job I think

i replaced the gasket with one called Apex. I still have a problem though how do i get the oil out of the spark plug holes. I want to replace the plugs but im affrade if i unscrew the plugs the oile will go into the cilinder holes.

Can someone please help me?

maybe soak it up with some shop towels or paper towels, just stick them down there to get most of it. If a little bit goes in the cylinder i don't think it will do much.

If there is just a bit of oil in one hole is it a big deal? If it is I will change it... but if the only problem is that I lose a tiny bit of oil and it won't cause any damage I would rather skip replacing the gasket right now.
