Paint Codes

Post by chefrza »

Does anybody know where I can find the paint code for my woo? I have an 01 Lanos Sport. I am pretty sure it is Super Red but I just want to make sure before putting on some touch up that makes me scream lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

paint code is mentioned on the identification plate... it is the plate in the right circle in the pic (the left pic refers to the VIN)

I'm not sure if my paint code is listed where the picture shows as well, but it IS listed on the radiated support along with a bunch of other information like interior paint code.

Does anyone know dupli-colors color match part number for Woo paint code 11u? Guys at a local auto parts stores are stupid and told me 11U doesn't tell them anything. When I told them it was Galaxy White they didn't have it and said since it was a GM pick one of the GM whites that matches and it'll be the perfect match. They had about 6 different whites which I took out to my car and found one that seamed to match perfectly but who knows. However for all I know the autostore didn't have in stock the correct white but of course they assured me it would match the rest of my car. The guys seamed to just pull things out of there arses, especially when they both assured me I didn't need a clear coat when it says in huge letters that a clear coat is needed.
