way to go man... keep an eye on that AFR meter... don't want you to blow your engine till you get the rrfpr.

+1.

Getting some more fuel in there will be good. Engines dont like lean-ness

hello all
today is a very sad day as my turbo was broke 3 days ago some thing went wrong with the oil line feeding the oil cooler and i had to stop the engine but it was after a long run so the oil in the turbo was cooked and the car started to smoke like a moskito killer car so i removed the turbo to check things and i found that after the oil cooking the oil seal for the exhust part went out and start to leak oil in the exhust so now back to point 0 am looking for a new turbo to install as the car feel like am driving a 1.0 car
i hate it without a turbo so please pray with me so that i can find a good turbo for some good $$$ and install it again
:? :? :? :? :? :? :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

for the car cutting out: remove the rrfmu, run the car, does it do the same thing?
if No, problem solved, you incresaing the fuel pressure too much that the injectors cant open.
if yes, check you map sensor, is it clamped( can see boost)?
if no, problem solved(fix it) now you can try the rrfmu again.
if yes, try using bigger injectors and a piggyback to control fueling.

for your turbo: you will want to get any turbo with water cooling. it will reduce cokeing by a large margin. if you get one from the junkyard REBUILD IT.

good luck.
p.s : i hate to see things wrong with turbo daewoos, we have a rep to build ;)
got drift?

the rrfpr is set to 50psi at idle... is that considered too much pressure?

the MAP is not clamped so i recon it does see boost.

the T3/T4 on the car is water cooled indeed but now it is fried.

it is hard to find a brand new turbo arround here so it is almost impossble to find a rebuild kit so we will have to go visit the used parts guys -AKA junkyard - once more and do some shopping.

your unclamped map is your peoblem. my car was doing the jerking thing when i hit boost. get some check valves or a missing link check valve.
50psi is not too bad, but why have that at idle with stock injectors?
at what rate is the regulator increasing the pressure?
if 12:1 which is usually common, then you will increase pressuer 12 points for every 1 psi( you dont want to go past 90% duty cycle on your injectors)
a safe place is 80% duty cycle MAX.

t3/t4?
i tought you guys were using a tdo4 turbo?
anyway, i have a t3 turbo that i am never going to use.
its compressor side is A/R 42 nonwater cooled ( you will have to change the center if you want water cooled option)
its trubine side is A/R 48 ( you will have to mod it cause i had the top part of my cat flange welded to it.
if you want it, its yours FREE.
" you just have to pay shipping"
