New Ride planing on turboing !!! 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.0 Rx

Hey guys how ya all doing , hope ur all doing gr8 , i know i havnt been here for a while been doing alot of changes lately , move to another country and job so havnt had a chance to do any projects or stay intouch but now im bk , I just bought an 08 Impreza 2.0 and im planing on turboin it , so any 1 know any1 who turbo'd a sub b4 ? its 150 hp 197 trq i think 10.5 C/R , so i was thinkin of two options

first is to build up an engine Sti or Wrx and swap it in the car

second is to turbo the current one in the car

so guys help me out on this project

all u need is the supported fuel mods like Apexi Neo Walbro 255 and 560cc injectors

i read in the street turbocharging book that 90-100hp per cubic inch of displacement u can use stock cast pistons anymore u should use forged

also i read the exhaust diameter for a single exhaust at 250hp should be 2.25" and 300 3.0"

thanx for the help , so this info is related to turboing subaru engine that rnt turboed ? its got a comp ratio of 10.5 - 1 thats realy high my lanos was in the 8's when i turboed it and run 7psi on 92 oct and 11 psi on 95 oct

i got here only 97 oct and then race fuel , so wat u guys think

i know its woo land i have a 99 dawoo lanos hatch 1.5 t then swaped to a 2.0 T , so just help me out abit guys i check on subs forums but not much help , just tellin me 2 swap the engine :S

I don't really see the problem. If you turboed a Lanos, the Subaru shouldn't be that much harder.

Keep in mind, this is a mostly North American forum. We don't get the 2.0 Subarus here. The smallest engine we get is a 2.5 turbo.

as for turboing it i know it will need the same materials and parts but i need info on the internals of subs engine ? how much boost they can run and some tips on turboin them
