couple of things... before painting onto chrome you should first use a zink or metal etch/alloy etch primer, this will be able to bite into it rather then spraying on top the paint will start to flake off in time. Also if youre going to use clear silicone make sure its heat proof! you dont want it to melt on a long night yourney, drip onto the light bulb and catch fire!

Appart from that al looks good and I have a guide on my site as to how ot make angel eyes!

I need to update the image paths to the pictures which I'll do later this afternoon! and mocpac, would I be able to use your guide of fitting them to add to the end of my tutorial as I ditched the idea half way through and bought crystal headlights for my car instead.

yes you have to put it back in the oven to re-seal it. some people had to put more silicone but i didn't i just put the two pieces in the oven then took them out and held them together (ovenmitts) for like ten minutes until it was dry again.

*WARNING*

there is a chance of melting the plastic if done incorrectly. some people have had it happen to them.

Is that new speak 210-250 degrees celcius or old time 210-250 Farenheit.

Only reason i ask is that i think America still uses the imperial scale, and i just don;t want 2 put it in my oven at 200 odd degree celcius which is a Shyyyyt load hotter than 200 degrees F.

Thanks for the great post man, really want to do this to the Lanos, just don;t want 2 melt the lights.

Thanks
