Rear strut dampeners

Post by tedder »

04 Chev Optra/Lacetti/Forenza or whatever else you want to call this car. Am in serious need of rear strut dampeners. Decent that they have lasted 218,000 kms really.
Nothing in North America at all till KYB receives their stock in early 2011. Also need a cam position sensor for same vehicle.
Anyone know of a Korean source for these perhaps ?
Thanks in advance !

PS - Naturally the local Gm dealer has stock but the price is double that of aftermarket.

KW makes a full coil-over kit for the car, it's very good but somewhat pricey.
...I'm just thinking out loud here, but I think the Saturn L series and the Nubira also use the same rear suspension as the Forenza. you can try that as well. if a local parts store has the shocks for the Saturn in stock you would be able to compair them before buying.

here is a link to ebay and a tone of cam sensors for around $40
