Lanos HB Rear Tonneau Cover, HELP!

Post by BosnianLanos »

Hey guys, I need the Tonneau cover for the Lanos HB. This is the large composite carpeted piece that lays over the trunk and is lifted by nylon strings attached the the lift gate. I used mine in a custom speaker housing, but that's gotten really impractical nowadays, especially since I'll be moving home from UF for the summer and the NOS tank takes up most of the trunk space.

GM-Car-Parts wants something along the lines of $64. Which is ridiculous.

If anyone has one, I'll be willing to pay your full price, but I also have a couple of cool things to trade (with money of course), including low-mileage fuel injectors, Lanos Manual ECU, Lanos/Nubira/Leganza OEM Shifter, Cleaned Metal Thermostat housing, and other stuff. If you need it, odds are that I have it.

Thanks a lot guys!

Can you show me a picture of what you're talking about?

I recently bought a lanos but haven't gotten it yet, or even seen the trunk of one. I plan on doing a custom speaker enclosur in the trunk so I may not need it.

It's that curved bit hanging from the rear gate. The large part that settles over the trunk opening so that you can't see in from the outside.

Thanks a lot for the help.

Hmm. I'll have to take a look at the car when I get it and my speaker enclousure before I'll know. I'm probably getting the lanos the first week of April.

Yeah, parcel shelf is how I know it as well, but www.gm-car-parts.com lists it as a Tonneau cover. Thats why it took me so long to find.

Anywho, thanks for all your help guys, I think I'm gonna head to the local junkyard to see if I can scrounge something up.
