It's Tom's project so I probably shouldn't be posting..... but our friend's shop was broken into on Friday night (dyno was for Saturday) so he was busy cleaning up and dealing with the situtation.

So..... no dyno unfortunatly... I don't know if Tom's tried to set anything up for this weekend or not.... I don't imagine our friend is in the best of moods.

No updates due to lack of the dyno...last friday Chris and I did some cruising - I used it as an opportunity to tinker with the maps, and I can say I can pretty safely pull to 7psi. We also performed 'test pull' - GSI vs MazdaSpeed3 - GSI was going head to head till about 70-80km/h, before it started getting lean. Traction control was off on the ZOOMZOOM3, so I cant say how it would look for the 2nd time. Car definitely requires proper dyno tuning.

I have build a monster. Really. The car is very temperamental, reacts to the lightest throttle tap with no hesitation (which is a tad annoying while going over the bumps), steering is heavy and if the driver does not respect the car and does not pay attention, the car will bite your head off, chew it and spit it out. Its also loud, handles exteremely well, and turn heads left and right...

I love the front and side, but IMO the rear wing is excessive. Looks good overall tho........ excited to see some tuning and dyno numbers :)

i know this is off topic but did you need to adjust camber in the front when you lowered it?

are you interested in adding power steering again?

I'm sure you can keep up to a stock one like my daily driver MSP3 ( although my LSD would allow me to get a good half car jump on you at the start )

I would however have to say that a lightly modified Speed3 would rape you.... as I was thouroughly raped by a modified Speed3 last friday (as I'm sure Tom will attest)

That beast had two or three car lengths on me in less than 3 seconds.... it made this crazy mean growl as it surged ahead of me.... way cool.... even Tom wants me to make my car sound like that.

Also keep in mind that GSiTurbo's car is probably in around 600lbs lighter than your Optra.... so you can only imagine where he will be with 18psi of boost.

Well no shit? Look at the thing! :p

Few things on it that don't suit my tastes, but overall it's an amazing looking car.
