GsiTurbo 2.0L 16V Turbo buildup ***DYNORUN 236WHP 255WTQ***

Post by GsiTurbo »

As some of you already know, I was gathering bits and pieces over the last little while for my hybrid T20SED, C20LET, X20XEV buildup. I think I will simply call this hybrid T20LEH, following the official GM naming convention.

At this point, desired power output will be in the neighbourhood of 400 crank HP, or so.

Specifications:

Block
- T20SED block, 86.50mm oversize
- Wiseco ceramic coated forged pistons 8.8:1, with 0.065' headgasket
- Toga steel rods
- ARP main studs
- ARP ProWave 2000 conrod bolts
- ARP flywheel bolts
- Lemans 2.0 flywheel/clutch

- new valves and guides
- uprated dual valve springs from QED
- adjustable cam gears from QED

what are you doing for a header? are you planing to keep your ERG system? if not do you want a ported, EGR free, MLS or MLC header gasket? it is made to machthe large port 1/2" stainless header flangethat i sell. chris is getting a couple sets this week, if your interestedask chris what he thinks when he gets his.

hope you have fun,

The header is ordered and paid for, hand build competition manifold. But thanks for the offer and I will keep in mind in case something changes. The manifold I am getting does not have the EGT port, and a blanking plate will be used to eliminate the EGR.

Looking good Tom!
Is the manifold going to be a proper pulse one to go with the twin scroll turbine housing?
Why did you need spacers on the main cap studs?

Can't wait to see it fully built :)

Nubira2.2 => Turbo specs: " O Trim " T3/T04E hybrid .70 A/R TURBINE HOUSING; 0 trim is often also referred to as 57 trim. It also features Turbonetics center ball bearing cartridge.
Image

Stefan => The manifold is being made by our friend from way south. It was referred to as 'competition manifold', and I it will be proper pulse manifold. The main cap spacers are required as GM changed caps design between XE and XEV/LET

Left - XEV/alu pan style. Right - XE metal pan
Image

gse_turbo => Pistons are from LET
