It's very easy swap... Leave your stock gearbox...

ok cheers, one other problem though, the car was given to me, and its an automatic not a manual  but if i was to buy a redtop 2 litre engine with a gearbox, wouldn't it be an easy enough swap? i could take auto-gearbox out with the engine, and put in the manual one with the 2 litre engine? would i need to consider anything else, apart from buying a pedal box with a clutch, and clutch cable?

nice car Ivan ;)

did the rear strut bar noticeably improve the car's handling and cornering ability?

Thanks, MMamdouh. To be honest, the rear strut bar does not have improve anything. But it is quite good if you transport some stuff in the car :D

i thought that too... them strut bars work on McPherson suspensions only as those systems are the ones were the car weight is at the struts... our rear suspension design has the weight at the bottom of the chassis and away from the shock absorbers completely so i thought a RSB would do nothing to our lanoses

good thing i got this confirmation from you as i was going to start searching for a compatable rear bar... i did so for the nubira and found out that a FSB for a 1999 Mitsubishi lancer will fit the front of a nubira but you'd have to drill a couple of holes at each brace to fit the mounts.

Ivan, I'm still watching your topic. :D

I'm thinking of getting a Nexia and strip it for local races, just for fun.
