Rodd1s wrote:that tape wont stop the airbag from coming out if thats what ur worried about. they pack quite a punch.

other than that, nice job on the blue LED conversion.
i think it coz of the voltage, LED use less than nornal ones,

so i think i will have to find a way to get the right resistor it place

good to hear it. when i bought my arc welder for welding my exhaust evryone told me i wouldnt be able to get it to MOT standards... and guess what! lol - the mechanic said he couldnt fault it in any way, shape or form.

mig welding may be easier, but whats the fun in doing something if it's easy?

doodeee. i did that.. i took off middle silencer, and backbox.. and the thing is fucking loud. yet my dad says it sounds like that tractor, (horrible sounding) but inside the car, it sounds nice and loud.

jeff, are you going to replace ur backbox with a muffler/'racing' muffle? if you do, let me know which one, b.c im trying to found out a nice deep loud sound..

and here in the states.. if i read the "laws" correctly for CAli.. its 150dB or less AT idle. >.< havent been pulled over yet. and i put 3 holes in the bend before the end to drain water.. my smog guy said its fine. i passed too. i wouldn't recommend drilling the holes, makes it sound horrible.
loving ur car though.

here in New Hampshire the new law is that if the cop thinks its too loud you get a ticket for a loud exhuast or if he wants to be a d*** he will give you a noise pollution ticket which $150 for the first time and you have to pay within a week and the second time is $300 and the third time its $600 oh and the loud exhaust ticket is $42 and I got a noise pollution ticket a couple years for my radio and the volume was only at 9 which isn't very loud sorry jeff didnt want to hijack your thread

arc welding does need you to feed a wire so my fingers won't be anywhere near it. :p

i am hoping to get it done by the end of the week
